2025, April: Hieu Huynh and Lam Nguyen join PhD program with full scholarship at University of Kentucky and National University of Singapore, respectively. They will start this Fall.

2025, January: Treverrio Primandaru launch his jetRNA model for everyone to use. The model has been developed since his capstone project. It predicts RNA secondary structure from its sequence, resulting in its dot-bracket notation and 2D representation.

2024, October: Enyimpa Nkrumah presents a poster at SUA Summer Research Symposium; Hung Phan presents a poster at the 7th SoCal TheoChem Symposium at UC San Diego; Hieu Huynh starts a 6-month research intern at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST).

2024, July: Khanh Le gets accepted to the Master program in Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics at University of Bordeaux. 

2024, June: Lam Nguyen does internship at the MBI Undergraduate Summer Training Programme, National University of Singapore, then secures a Research Assistant position at the same lab.

2024, May: Lam Nguyen, Khanh Le, and Treverrio Primandaru successfully defend capstone projects and GRADUATE.

2024, March: Linh Vu gets accepted with full scholarship to the Master in the Computational Operations Research Graduate Program at William & Mary College.

2024, February: Chau Le gets accepted to the Master in Health Data Analytics at Monash University.

2024, January: the paper "Synergy of Machine Learning and Density Functional Theory Calculations for Predicting Experimental Lewis Base Affinity and Lewis Polybase Binding Atoms" get accepted at The Journal of Computational Chemistry. Hieu Huynh is the first author, and Khanh Le and Linh Vu are co-authors.

2023, December: Chau Le successfully defends her Capstone project.

2023, November: Treverrio Primandaru presents a poster titled "Modelling Ligand Binding to BACE1 Aspartic Protease for Alzheimer's Disease Drug Discovery" at a Research Symposium at Soka University of America.

2023, October: Hung attends and presents a poster at the SoCal TheoChem conference at UCLA.

2023, September: Chau Le' poster titled "In silico study of Vietnamese medicinal herbs against Calcium-sensing receptor" is chosen as one of the top 10 innovative ideas at One Health Contest 2023, at Vietnam National University. 

2023, May - August: Lam Nguyen does internship at The National Insitute of Genetics, SOKENDAI, Japan.

2023, May - August: Hung visits The ForliLab at The Scripps Research Institute.

2023, May: the paper "Quantum Chemistry–Machine Learning Approach for Predicting Properties of Lewis Acid–Lewis Base Adducts" is published in ACS Omega. Hieu Huynh is the first author, and Linh Vu, Phuc An Nguyen are co-authors.

2023, May: Hieu Huynh and Phuc An Nguyen successfully defend their Capstone projects - the first two members of the group to defend. 

2023, April: Phuc An Nguyen gets accepted to Stony Brook University for his PhD in Computational Chemistry and Biology. 

2023, February: Hieu Huynh present a poster titled "Quantum Chemistry–Machine Learning Approach for Predicting Optoelectronic Properties of Lewis Acid–Lewis Base Adducts" at The Tenth Conference of the Asia-Pacific Association of Theoretical and Computational Chemists.

2022, June - July: Hung visits The Simmerling Lab at at Stony Brook University.
